I started to get a Bladder Infection 2 days ago and bought some over the counter medicine called uristat and its starting to work but the package says dont take for more than 2 days.. so now Im trying to flush it out by drinking water and cleartract powder.. Anyone have any home remedies that work without having to go to the doc?
agree with above answers. if it is a bladder infection you will need antibiotics. for the future, consider acidifying your urine.
we used to give our "at risk". patients 250-500milligrams of vitamin C (also called ascorbic acid) three times a day. the bacteria seems to thrive more in an alkaline environment. additionally, cleartract or blueberry powder. it doesn't truly prevent or cure bladder infections but it makes the lining of the bladder less responsive to harboring the bacteria.
