I was urinating blood, and they thought it could have been vaginal bleeding so they inserted a catheter. It could be spotting which could cause spotting but as early along as you are, i wouldn't worry. Unless you start bleeding a lot try not to worry. Also don't be surprised if you get a yeast infection while taking the antibiotics for the infection.
