Can d-mannose powder cure a bladder infection?

I know that cleartract powder can help decrease the chance of a bladder infection, but can it actually cure a small bladder infection?

I don't think it can cure a bladder infection; a medical doctor from Arkansas once told me to drink cleartract powder diluted with water PLUS the antibiotic he gave me. The reason he said to dilute the powder with water was to cut on the sugar.
I do believe if cleartract powder is taken regularly could help reduce the risk of recurring bladder infection….but perhaps drinking more water might do the same thing.
