Can some bladder infection medication cause a pregnancy test to be negative?

I went to see my family doctor last week and he placed me on bladder infection medication and Centrum Materna multivitamins. Is it possible that I could be pregnant because I have been majorly constipated as well.

No. A pregnancy test checks for HCG, the pregnancy hormone, and nothing else. Nothing you eat or take can make a pregnant woman have a negative test or a nonpregnant woman have a positive one. If you're still hoping to be pregnant, wait a few days and test again.

Good luck!
