You can always try taking some Cranberry and Acidophilus. They’re available at all health foods stores, Walmart, GNC, etc. If it’s just a UTI and not a bladder or kidney infection, then those supplements help. Also, stay away from sugar, sodas, liquor/beer, yeasts, etc until the UTI is gone.

Urinary Tract Infection Symptoms
Lower urinary tract infection (cystitis): The lining of the urethra and bladder becomes inflamed and irritated.

•Dysuria – Pain or burning during urination
•Frequency – More frequent urination (or waking up at night to urinate)
•Urgency – The sensation of not being able to hold urine
•Hesitancy – The sensation of not being able to urinate easily or completely (or feeling that you have to urinate but only a few drops of urine come out)
•Cloudy, bad smelling, or bloody urine
•Lower abdominal pain
•Mild fever (less than 101°F), chills, and “just not feeling well” (malaise)
Upper urinary tract infection (pyelonephritis): Symptoms develop rapidly and may or may not include the symptoms for a lower urinary tract infection.

•Fairly high fever (higher than 101°F)
•Shaking chills
•Nausea
•Vomiting
•Flank pain – Pain in your back or side, usually on only one side at about waist level

I’m taking medication for both of them now as well.

I was always told that too. That a yeast infection never delays a period and blah blah blah blah.

Ok, I’ve had about 4-5 if not more yeast infections and EVERY TIME it has delayed my period. I’m pretty convinced it does.

I thought I was pregnant once because of the symptoms of my UTI, but no.. it was just a UTI. I didn’t get pregnant for nearly a year afterwards. You’re probably just getting another infection.

The first symptom that my wife had was stinging when she urinated. After the stinging stopped, her urine did almost. She just dripped. The pain was so bad that she finally cried endlessly before she got an appointment with her doctor. The quick solution while you are waiting on your doctor’s appointment is Azo Standard. Give it about an hour to work. Wear super absorbency disposable briefs while you are dripping urine and giving the Azo Standard time to work. Drink cranberry juice is what my urologist told me to do. He also put me on 3 antibiotics. They do not know why the Azo Standard works so well, but it is just absolutely great and is over the counter. I am not giving you advice in substitution for your doctor’s advice. Always check with your doctor. By the way, the super absorbency disposable underwear gets you from sitting on the toilet for hours while you just drip, drip, drip urine. I hope that this helps. I have lived with it for years………..
